1. Arsenal - Alexander Isak

With Alexandre Lacazette’s contract expiring next summer and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s exclusion from the squad, Arsenal are in desperate need of a striker. Here is how Alexander Isak comes into the picture. He fits the Arsenal and Mikel Arteta squad profile perfectly - strong, fast, technically sound and a good finisher. He has shown what he is capable of doing in LaLiga. Time for him to make the step up to this young squad Arteta has assembled?
2. Aston Villa - Sven Botman

A centre-half is on the agenda for Steven Gerrard. Konsa is brilliant. His partner, on the other hand, Mings is prone to moments of concentration lapses. It's time to improve. Sven Botman has impressed at defending Ligue 1 champions, Lille OSC. He has been linked with a move away for quite some time now. Maybe this time, it could actually come to fruition?
3. Brentford - Christian Eriksen [SIGNED]

The infamous on-pitch incident of Christian Eriksen lives in our memories. He was ruled out to play due to medical and fitness concerns. However, deemed fit now and available on a free, Brentford need to move for the Danish maestro. There are heavy links rumoured, and it is a deal Brentford want to get over the line come 31st January. Ever since their promotion to the Premier League, Brentford have lacked a spark in midfield. Ivan Toney, their star goal scorer, is also playing deeper because of additional defensive duties. If Eriksen arrives, who knows how many goals Toney and Brentford can score.
4. Brighton - Eddie Nketiah

Striker. Striker. Striker. That has been the call for Brighton for what seems like ages now. Nketiah has reportedly rejected a new contract with the Gunners and moving to the Amex could be the fresh start he needs to get his career off the ground. The 22 year-old is highly rated and offers a high ceiling. SIGN HIM, GRAHAM POTTER.
5. Burnley - Aleksander Mitrovic

Fulham’s star striker is wrecking havoc in the Championship, as he did in previous seasons. Everyone notices his performances for Fulham in the second division, but somehow he becomes invisible for the PL teams. The perfect step up? Burnley. The Clarets sold their main man, Chris Wood, to direct relegation rivals, Newcastle. Here’s where Mitrovic comes into the play. A physical yet clinical striker, perfectly suited to Burnley’s setup.
6. Chelsea - Marc Cucurella

Chelsea have endured somewhat of a bad form ever since December. The problem? Wing backs. First choice pair, Ben Chilwell and Reece James are out with long-term injuries. Azpilicueta can fill in at RWB but at LWB, Marcos Alonso just seems out of place, not providing enough defensive cover. That’s why it would make sense for Chelsea to move for Cucurella, who has impressed for Brighton this season.
7. Crystal Palace - Donny Van de Beek

Ah, Donny Van De Beek. It is genuinely sad to see how Manchester United are treating the ex-Ajax playmaker. Crystal Palace could offer him a chance at redemption, an opportunity to revive his career. Patrick Viera has done an amazing job with a young, exuberant squad at Palace. He could really shine there, and Palace could do with a playmaker to aid the strikers, especially Odsonne Edouard.
8. Everton - Tanguy Ndombele

Tanguy Ndombele has struggled to impress at Tottenham ever since his record-breaking move. Fitness issues as well as fallout with managers have resulted in him mostly featuring from the bench. Everton, on the other hand, lack depth in the midfield department, and those who are present are not up to the standards expected. They could solve this issue by signing Ndombele. A forward-thinking, progressive midfielder, who could definitely improve Everton’s frailties upfront.
9. Leeds United - John Swift

Leeds United were fabulous in the 2020/21 season. This season? Not so much. Out of all the injuries and tactical mishaps, there has been a spark missing in midfield. There is too much dependence on Raphinha to come up with something out of the blue. Speaking of blue, John Swift of Reading is a player making the headlines. He's leading the assist charts in the Championship. He wouldn't command a very exorbitant fee, and really shine for Leeds.
10. Leicester - Moussa Diaby

Leicester have a strong squad overall, with good depth in every position. However, they do lack a next-level RW. Lookman and Perez have performed when called upon but they aren't really up to the mark, atleast yet. Diaby, of Bayer Leverkusen, is the one. Yes, he will cost a lot of money, but he has produced the output to match that. What makes him even better is the versatility he offers, with the ability to play on either wing.
11. Liverpool - Fabio Carvalho

Now, my first choice was Luis Diaz but Liverpool seemed to have read my mind, confirming the transfer. However, it is their midfield that requires some attention. Jude Bellingham is a name that has been thrown around quite a bit, however it would be extremely unlikely that Borussia Dortmund let him leave in the winter transfer window. Fulham’s Fabio Carvalho is out of contract next summer, and is an exciting prospect at 19 years old. Liverpool have been heavily linked with him, while pundits have advised to follow in the footsteps of former Fulham wonderkid, Harvey Elliott.
12. Man City - Erling Haaland

If one takes a look at the league table, you'd not be wrong to think that this City side can't be improved. However, they do lack a goalscoring menace at striker. Guess who's the most in-demand player in the world right now? Haaland. Haaland has sent shockwaves around the world of football ever since his performances at RB Salzburg and then Borussia Dortmund. Just imagine Haaland in this City team. Scary.
13. Man Utd - Denis Zakaria

Manchester United are a work in progress, to say the least. With each passing fixture, their weakness in central midfield is ever so prominent. They can solve this mediocrity by signing Denis Zakaria. He's out of contract at the end of the season, and Monchengladbach are willing to sell him for about €7,000,000. A bargain for a player of that quality.
14. Newcastle - Nathan Aké

The recently turned richest club in the world have already made 3 signings in this window. However, key to their fight for staying up would be strengthening their central defence. Nathan Aké has previously played under Eddie Howe at Bournemouth. At Man City, he is struggling for minutes. He could opt for a move to Tyneside, who could not only offer him a starting berth but also high wages, similar to his current one.
15. Norwich - Tom Davies

Norwich's two main midfielders, Mathias Normann and Billy Gilmour, are both on loan and would return to their respective clubs come the end of the season. Hence, Norwich should look to sign Tom Davies. The Everton midfielder has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park as of late and if that is the case, then Norwich City would be smart to try and snap him up. The defensive midfielder is a terrific tackler who is good with the ball at his feet. At 23, he offers a great room for improvement.
16. Southampton - Sam Johnstone

Okay, I'll be straight to the point here. Southampton need a goalkeeper. Sam Johnstone is the answer. He impressed everyone during the PL 2020/21 season, and is still performing at a high level. No-brainer for Hasenhuttl.
17. Tottenham - Bruno Guimarães

Conte needs a more progressive passer in midfield. Current options are not bad, but could definitely be improved upon. Bruno Guimarães could be the solution. His stunning performances for Olympique Lyon have grabbed the attention of various clubs, including PL rivals Newcastle United. If they are unable to procure his signature, Juventus' Rodrigo Bentancur would be a worthy shout.
18. Watford - Mattia Caldara

Watford's defence is a problem. It is as simple as that. Our suggestion is Mattia Caldara, the AC Milan defender on loan at Venezia. He is a good, steady, tidy player who would add a lot of quality at the back. Also, being 27 years old, he is close to reaching his prime.
19. West Ham - Franck Kessie

Yes, West Ham have Declan Rice. Yes, he's darn good. The only issue being that he could be prized away from The Hammers by bigger clubs. In such a situation, Kessie would be the perfect replacement for him. In the odd case that Rice does decide to stay, Kessie can operate as a CM, or as a CDM with Rice moving to CB. Breaking the rules here but I would give one more suggestion: signing a CB.
20. Wolves - Renato Sanches

Wolves have been quietly getting the results onboard. To challenge for the European spots, to make that step up, they need Renato Sanches. Portuguese, young, exciting. Almost as if he was born to play for Wolves. Wolverhampton currently have ONLY 3 senior midfielders, whereas Moutinho isn't getting any younger. Need I say more?
